Problem.A Top 5 North American bank was considering the launch of new consumer loan products to the US market.

Goal.The bank needed a market assessment for several loan types under consideration. Also, questions about the supporting infrastructure that would be needed necessitated analysis of potential loan application volumes through various delivery channels.

Outcome.In-depth analysis was performed to assess a number of critical metrics, including existing loan volumes, loan applications per delivery channel and key competitor market shares. Growth projections were generated for a 5 year time horizon, using a planning model created for later use by the client. The bank choose an entry strategy and product rollout that closely reflected where the bank could most easily garner market share, as reflected in the analysis.
