Client:Technology Vendor

Problem.A global hardware vendor needed a quantitative analysis of the trends in information technology spending among financial institutions in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.

Goal.To help the client direct sales efforts in the coming year, both in terms of geography and technology spending area.

Outcome.A customized IT spending matrix was created, spanning all geographies and major spending categories specified by the client. A related analysis focused on major financial institutions and their outlays in certain areas of IT spending, and how those compared with their "peer group". Highest growth areas were identified and the client was able to re-direct resources to areas of greatest potential.
